People want what your product will do for them and how it will make them feel instead of wanting what you make.

Most marketers go after the same feelings. They may do it in a different way with a different service at a different time but they're going after the same feeling. Which after a while gets boring and overused.

Do something more valuable and worthwhile. Bring someone true connection, community, status, and love. Appeal to their most desired emotions. What your business sells is simply the vehicle to achieve these emotions. By focusing on anything else lets everyone down.
