Why do I need to market?

Why do I need to market? This is a question I frequently get. Marketing is happening all the time no matter if you want it to or not. It's every action taken, move made, post posted, call answered, price adjusted, service offered, experience had. So why wouldn't you take control of the message being given?

Marketing is purely telling a story and YOU can tell the story just how you envision it. When crafting your story start with the heart. Solve a problem consumers have. Identify the smallest viable audience. Build trust with your market. Lastly give people resources they can use to achieve their goals.

So, get your pen and paper (or computer) out and start writing the story of your business they way you want others to hear, see, and feel it.
